Bryntum

Bryntum builds Gantt, Scheduler, and Calendar components that cover anything with a time dimension: tasks, resources, shifts, bookings, deadlines.

Gantt lays out tasks on a timeline with dependencies, so moving one task automatically shifts the ones that depend on it. Built for managing project plans of any size.

Scheduler assigns events to resources (people, rooms, equipment) on a timeline, with drag, drop, and resize built in. Think shift planning or flight scheduling.

Calendar is a full day/week/month/year/agenda/resource calendar view, the kind of interface people already know how to read, with events, filters, and an editor out of the box.

Best Use of Bryntum

This prize goes to the project that puts Gantt, Scheduler, and/or Calendar to the best use, whether that's the cleanest timeline, the smartest resource booking, or an agent that drives the schedule itself.

Project ideas

This is not a list of our expectations! Just something for you to start:

  • Agency delivery board (Gantt): multi-client project timelines with payment tranches marked as dependencies, so a late PayPal payment visibly blocks the next phase

  • Equipment rental calendar (Scheduler): rental slots for gear or venues, booked and locked in only once a PayPal payment clears

  • Event ticketing calendar (Calendar): ticketed events shown day by day, with PayPal sales volume per event visible at a glance

  • Subscription revenue radar (Scheduler): Build a timeline with one row per customer account, showing billing periods, expected renewals, and failed payment markers + refunds.

  • Dispute triage board (Scheduler): One Scheduler row per support agent, with work blocks for assigned disputes. Show disputed amount, response deadline, and evidence readiness. Highlight cases that have a deadline but no time allocated to handle them.

  • Agent-driven rescheduler (Gantt + Scheduler + Calendar): an agent watches PayPal payment events and automatically moves or flags milestones, bookings, or events when a payment fails, succeeds late, or gets refunded
